Beechams veno's honey & lemon for tickly coughs contains liquid glucose, purified honey and lemon juice. It is used to relieve a dry, tickly, unproductive cough and sore throat. The syrup works by coating the back of the throat, producing a soothing effect. It may also offer some protection to the throat from irritants such as smoke or dust particles.

How to take Beechams Venos Honey & Lemon:
Children over 6 years: 5ml 3 times daily and on retiring, when the cough is troublesome
Not recommended for children under 6 years of age

Caution whilst using Beechams Venos Honey & Lemon:
If you or your child has any of the following symptoms you should consult your doctor so that the cough can be investigated further: coughing up phlegm that is green, rusty brown, yellow, blood-stained or foul smelling; shortness of breath, wheezing or difficulty breathing; chest pain; pain and swelling in the calf; sudden weight loss; recurrent night-time cough; or a long-term persistent cough. Do not exceed the recommended dose. If symptoms persist consult your doctor. Use with caution in Diabetes (note sugar content). Not to be used in Children under 6 years of age.

Yellow, honey and lemon-flavoured liquid containing lemon juice 0.9ml, purified honey 0.29g and liquid glucose 4g in 5ml
